Rahat Fateh Ali Khan Talk About His Recent Controversy Was Planned

Pakistani Showbiz Industry's Famous Singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has recently become a popular topic of debate, and not for good reasons. On January 27, 2024, the renowned musician became embroiled in a controversy after a video showing him striking one of his students with a slipper went viral. However, a new video recently appeared in the media in which he explains why he hit his student and the truth behind the entire affair. The singer had a one-on-one meeting with Adeel Asif, during which the two discussed RFAK's professional side and went into greater detail about what had happened between Khan and his student, Naveed Hussain.



Rahat Fateh Ali Khan claims that the negative campaign began soon before his world tour.

After their dialogue, the host invited Rahat Fateh Ali Khan to convey a message to his audience. The artist went on to disclose that the negative publicity campaign against him began just before his world tour. The renowned artist went on to say that by God's grace, he still has a fan base despite such a propaganda effort. He said:


“Sach maine khud accept kiya hai. Wo mera shagird tha, maine usko daanta hai, peeta hai aur uske bad maine usse maafi bhi maangi hai. Aur ye bhi baat sach hai, log mazak kar rahe hai, ye baat sach hai ki mere peer-o-murshid ka paani tha, jo uske paas pada tha. Uss cheez ki dept ko nahi samajh rahe hai, spiritual ek mamla hai mera aur mere peer sahab ka. Wo mere liye bohot badi cheez thi. Jo insaan iss saari negative muhim ke peeche tha main usko ek jawab dena chahta hun, ‘Muddai lakh bura chahe toh kya hota hai, jo hota hai manzoor-e-khuda hota hai.’”



Rahat Fateh Ali Khan shares that he has been a father figure for Naveed Hussain.

RFAK also stated during the conversation that his student, Naveed Hussain, whom he was seen beating up, cried as the singer apologised to him in front of the whole world. The singer also stated that he considers himself a father figure to his students, specifically Naveed, who is especially close to him because of his father's long-standing relationship with Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and his family. RFAK has also treated Naveed's father and daughters as they were his own family members. He said:

“Naveed ke jo waalid sahab hai wo 40 saal pehle se Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan ke shagird hai, Naveed 15 saal pehle shagird hua. Inki family mein shagird hai hamare. Naveed ke father ko jab heart ka problem hua, maine unka pura ilaaj karwa ke diya aur Naveed ki khud ki jo beti hai uske jo kaan ke operates wo maine uske karwaye, bacchiyon ki shaadiyan bhi, har tarah ka jaise ek baap ka role hota hai, shagird ko uss waqt zaroorat hai baap ki, toh humne wo bhi role adaa kiya ha, unki har tarah ke takleef mein saath diya hai.”
